I’m looking at an elk hunt with Black Mountain Outfitters.

I wanted to see if anyone has previous elk hunting experience with them.

I had two hunters on one of their late October hunts on their huge property in NM. Overall they were very happy. Lots of elk, good staff and nice accommodations.

Had a friend and his co-worker hunt with them last month thru WTA booking agency. Hunt was billed as a late season cancellation. $8,500.00

He killed a 280 bull, his buddy had never been on a guided hunt. He wasn't prepared and left a day early.

My bud said a lot of cow hunters there. A lot going on in camp. Said they seemed to really run the numbers through their camps. Nothing real bad to say but they seemed very high volume.

But they are hunting 500,000 acres
