YukonerI leave for Saskatchewan today !
Today, I start out on a 34 hour trip to Sask. to hunt whitetails with friends.(And make thier lives hell) I also have to tow my Toyota 4X4 along. I made a deal with my hunting partner for a large set of locked deer antlers and some cash and a years supply of his wife's home made cookies. The truck is for his son's first vehicle.
After guiding horseback hunts all fall it is a nice break to have no pressure and enjoy the time with friends hunting whitetails and goofing off and maby a bit of drink'n after the days hunting. We will be most likely playing pranks and gags on one anouther trying to outdo the last one that was played.(I would love to top Saeed's 'Hole in the wall' gag!) I know we will be doing lots of shoot'n. I can't wait to let lead fly at those running coyotes. We will kill as many of them as we can.
Oh yeah, I might even have a chance at bagging a whitetailed deer on this trip.
Wish me luck that I get the best of them!

<richard powell>Good luck on the deer hunting. Here in Southern Alberta the icy November weather that is so great for those big rutting white tail bucks hasn't really shown up. On Friday I was sitting in a ditch having a stupid picnic with a couple of unsuccessful moose hunters who had been wandering in a swamp all morning. A butterfly came wandering along!!!! The other hunters told me that a big frog or toad had startled them in the swamp that morning!!! And right now it is warm and windy outside.... The coyotes are going to start getting uncomfortable in their shaggy coats!!!
