When your child is diagnosed with cancer, your life stops, changes course,
and begins instead toward a path to do anything & everything to help
your baby.

Brooke Elizabeth Hester is 3 1/2 years old and loves pink, ponies, cats and
dogs, and dinosaurs. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Right now she is facing a big challenge that took everyone by surprise in late September 2010. Her diagnosis is stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma, which is a form of cancer. The prognosis is not good, but there have been advances for neuroblastoma in the last few years. The cancer is also in her bone marrow, so she has a long battle ahead. The family is armed with prayer warriors, friends and relatives ready to help pull her through this, but financially, they face many days away from home and traveling to MD Anderson in her "road map" of cancer treatment for the mass and bone marrow. Please pray for this courageous little girl.

The Knights of Columbus 3389 of Kingsville, TX are sponsoring a fund raising raffle for Brooke.

As a father of a 2.5 year old daughter who insists on hunting with her dad someday (both of us wearing pink camo), this post brought tears to my eyes.
