I still want one. I've seen how Walter "holsters" his Blaser, and that is something to think about. Will my elk hunting guide carry this thing for me?

HenryC470 I bought a coincidental [sp?] range finder from them a few years before the laser rangefinders were afordable. Mine is a Ziess made for the Dutch Artillery, I think. If you need ranges more than 1000 yards they are excellent. I think mine goes to 20,000 yards. But for hunting, get one of the laser range finders, they are a lot more compact. P.S. those Swiss units sold for over $1000.00 a few years ago. They are a real precision instrument, they are a STEAL at $500.00.
