okie johnElk Head Came In
Here’s the head of the elk that I took on the hunt that I described on this thread:

The work was done by
http://www.beaconhillbiological.com/ in Toutle, WA, which also works under the name Skullduggery. When I dropped the head off in early November, the proprietor told me it would be ready in 60 days, but he finished up quite a bit earlier. I haven’t had time to get down there until recently, and I wanted to share it with everyone here.
Not the biggest Roosevelt bull ever taken, but it's mine.

BullshooterGood job on the bull. I too shot my first roosevelt this fall. It was a very nice symmetrical 5x5. The antlers were so red that many of the people I sent pictures to said I should have wiped the blood off before taking pictures. I haven't decided what to do with the skull yet but I was thinking of having it bronze dipped, it would be a really cool color combo.
