A friend and i want to hunt moose and caribou in BC. Do we legaly need a guide? What about paperwork for rifles? What do tags cost for aliens? What is the best area to hunt both? Thank You

40, Unless you have a blood relative that is a resident of BC, you will definately have to hire a guide/outfitter. There are many quality guide outfitters that offer hunts for both species. They are all located in the northern half of the province, and are too numerous to list here.

If you want to narrow your search and get some names to start with, I would suggest going to www.goabc.org and doing a search by species.
