California Bighorn Sheep
Are these guys classified under Desert Bighorns or Rocky Mountains in B&C? Or any other record books for that matter. Thanks.

B&C recognizes them as Rocky's.

Yes, put in for the drawings in every state that takes them.

Odds of getting drawn are pretty low.

But if you really, really want one the states have tags that go to the highest bidder in sealed bid auctions. A bid of around $100,000 should do it, but maybe not. Big Grin

Just thought you sheep guys would enjoy the webcam at the Texas Bighorn Society website. Not trying to hijack this thread.

Lots of desert bighorn pics.....hard working organization.....deserves any sheep hunter's attention.....

British Columbia is about the only place left where you can get a hunt through an outfitter for Cali's without having to have a draw.
