<Chigger>Best Scope $300-$500 range
I can't agree 100% with the Professor RAY! It took me a wee bit longer to realize that their was perhaps a better product in the form of a Leupold scope. Prior to that I owned Weaver and Redfield, back in their hay day of being at the top of the class in the USA. Today like Ray both Ray's, I own a dozen or so Leupold scopes in different variations. Their warranty work is second to none in my book. I have had but #1 problem with a Leupold scope (my wifes) and that was just a finish problem. They sent her a brand new scope.......end of story. LEUPOLD is #1 in the USA!

John SLeupold is still a great choice, but it isn't head and shoulders above everything else like it was just a few years ago. I still use several Leupolds, but find other scopes do certain things better so use the ones best suited to the job at hand. If I were limited to one scope for everything, a 2.5-8x Leupold would be a top choice!
