It looks to me like everyone is getting a little too chummy with that bear. After all, they ARE wild animals!

Do my eyes deceive me or is that dork on the far left wearing a TIE? Anyone who would hunt with a tie on should be shot on sight! Damn, what if the fad caught on? Next thing they will want is for hunters to be clean shaven.

PECOS, Is not hunter number two sporting a bow tie? Maybe these boys skipped out on church one Sunday and went barr huntin'?

I'll tell ya guys, if that bear's dead they did a great job of posing him, what with one paw on a shoulder and the other on a knee. If that bear's alive he did an even better job of posing them!
Either way, a pretty good "BS" photo for the day, I'd say.

If you will notice two of them are wearing ties.
The two on the far left as I remember it in the picture.
I have seen lots of pictures from the time (and on up into the 40-50s) where at least one person is wearing a tie during the hunt.
I personally am a litle more relaxed and feel a sports coat is the most that is required on a common bear hunt.
