Wendell ReichRe: Digital Trail Cam
I do not know abut a website for discussing the trail cam, but I have a recommendation.
I use a camera by Highlander sports. It is not cheap, probably one of the most expensive cameras I have seen at about $500, but dang, it's good! (They are coming out with a new model that will be about $150 or so less than this)
It is a infrared, digital camera. It has an infrared flash that does not spook game. You can not see the flash. Which I feel is important. I could be wrong, but a big buck that has something "explode" by him, might not be inclined to visit that site again.
Once again, I have been wrong before. But when you have a choice between a camera with a visible flash and one that has no visible flash, it is an easy choice.
Their customer service is great. I have had to send mine back for a minor problem, they replaced a part and returned it, no charge. A friend of mine had his damaged in a hail storm. They fixed it, no charge.
www.highlandersports.com Look for the PhotoSpy digital camera, they make a few different models, only one is infrared.
I am about to order my second one.

Wendell ReichI have Red Deer, Aoudad, Axis, Whitetail, Mule Deer and unfortunately, Pigs.
I use the game camera to monitor the growth and numbers of my animals. I see how much the Pigs eat, the antler development of the Stags etc. Since I can not get close enough to any of the game to see development, the photos are a great way to see what is happening.
There are animals on the game camera I have never seen in person.
This should give you an idea of the quality, range etc. this camera is capable of.

Russell E. TaylorYou might start
here . Jesse has a nice website and is a good friend -- though, like so many of my friends anymore, I've never met him in person. He is a good guy though, sent me care packages in Iraq, and has a genuine interest in helping people. If you can't find what you need at his website, drop him a line and tell him I sent you. I'm sure he'll do everything he can to get you pointed in the right direction.
Good luck.
