I was confused when I got the mail today and found an envelope from the DNR today. What the hell are they sending me now is what I thought to myself? Much to my surprise, it was a letter saying I drew a bear tag this year in zone A! I was so excited when I saw that! This is the 7th year of applying, and I thought that they had drawn already and that I didn't get one again. Did anyone else get this great news in the mail today?

Where in zone A well you be hunting should have no trouble killing a bear one over 300 could be a problem

Is this a bait or hound year first

It's hounds first this year. Not sure exactly where I'll be hunting yet. I know a few people from town that have land in zone A, but not sure what they have for bear near their land. Lots of looking and resource to be done!

Tougher year for bait sitters. I am sure there is bear by their land. They are every where now just get them into the bait and to hang around for the shot.
