(by the way,ewen I hunt with cals 3006(fav)45-70 375..I NEWER shoot ower 150yds dist,I want to take it down with one shot only.)

I agree that the 308 is one of many cartridges that can do it all in north america and cheaper than some of the others but no better than some of the others either and I shoot one
