Talley's new one piece scope mounts

I just this week received two sets of the new Talley scope mounts, these are one piece, as in the scope ring and base are one. They are horizontally split, aluminum.

They remind me alot of the mounts Mel Forbes uses on his rifles.

Anyone else tried these?

They are the mounts that Mel Forbes uses on his rifles. Apparently, Mels former supplier went out of business so talley is now making them. I talked to Dave Talley today about them and will probably order a set on Monday for a model 70.
