Ready to Go Elk Hunting
Took the .375 out to the range for a final zero check today (I'm anal, that's the third "final zero check" in about 10 days). Three 300gr Woodleigh PP in 0.80", 2" high at 100, including the fouler (shots two and three are touching).

Now if my three flights are on time and the rental doesn't break down and if the weather....

If I remember correctly, Idaho, I believe. Heres wishing you a safe trip, a great hunt, and bag one for me!! May Murphy wake up just as you get home from a great hunt.

You are so kind. Yes, Idaho.

I checked the long range forecast just a few minutes ago...they are calling for rain/snow mix the entire time I'll be there!!! Here's hoping it is snow and not rain!

I keep telling myself 35 degrees and rain is great for hunting as it helps keep the scent down...

Glad my sleeping bag is polar guard and not down, and that my woolies are packed.

Tarbe -- From that rifle and that group, I must say you are ready. There is nothing like that pre-hunt buzz you have until the sun comes up that first morning. [Wink] Good luck and good shooting.

I'm buzzing, to doubt about it. It has been 11 years since my last elk hunt, so I've been waiting awhile on this one!

Thanks guys, for your wishes. I'll check back in on the 17th or 18th, Lord willing.
