daniel77I'm not sure I agree with the "because it isn't a domesticated animal" argument. There are plenty of stories of "domesticated" animals attacking their owners.
I think the problem stems from these animal lovers personifying their animals, and forgetting that the "animal world" is a lot rougher than the human world. Bears do fight amongst themselves, as do dogs, cats, horses, cows and all animals. Pecking order is key, if your animals aren't submissive to you in all instances, then there is an "accident" waiting to happen. As a professional horse trainer for fifteen years with hundreds of horses to my credit, I can say with no reservations that the spoiled pet is far an away
more dangerous than the wild ones. my .02
