Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

p dog shooterVeteran wolf biologist, John Gunson, formerly with the Alberta Fish and Wildlife Division, and also featured in Crying Wolf, echoed the concerns of sportsmen regarding elk hunting, saying, pointedly, "Really, there isn't any room for harvest by man if you have a healthy wolf population."
One of the main goals all a long.

joesterIf this information is correct...What can be done about? Anything? Are there statutes of limitations in effect? Can any pro- wildlife attornies or SCI insiders who are AR readers weigh in on these apparent breach of state & federal laws?

mlfgunssdkidaho thanks for posting. This is the best and most revealing article I have seen on the subject. Why is it not all over the national news. All involved in the deceit, theft of public funds etc... etc... should be held accountable with prison time and all their assets confiscated and used to eradicate the four legged vermin.

Fury01I think most if not all Threatened Species "Protection" efforts are really about an agenda that is really just control and damn the rules or consequences to folks in the area. The end justifies the means and the end is Control thus Power.
Wolves are a great example but Lessor prairie Chicken, Gunnison Sage Grouse the aim is the same. Kings forest once more.
