I drew this year, but it was a cow tag.

My son and I both got our either sex tags for the fourth season, now fingers are crossed for the other 12 in the group. Good shooting.

My son and I drew our second choice, 4th season unit 44 either sex elk tags. This is the area that he got his first Bull in a couple years ago.
Now waiting on deer results.

Phurley what area are your either sex tags in?

I didn't get drawn for the Late Season Cow Elk tag I put in for, RATS.

Nothing here regarding elk for either myself or my buddy. Guess we'll be hitting one of the over-the-counter units unless we draw deer tags!

Both my son and I drew late cow tags in a Ranching For Wildlife unit. That's usually a fun hunt.

Don't let so much reality into your life that there's no room left for dreaming.

We didn't draw general Mler Bull tags. Oh well, at least my rigs will be dialed in for next year.

Just a preference point for me this year. This brings me up to 15. I'm about 2-3 years away from drawing one of the either sex tags for unit 2. I want to take at least one monster bull on an unguided hunt before I'm too old to do it.

Hey MAC
I just looked at the numbers for ya based on 2008 unit 2 early rifle elk either sex 100% of the people with 17 points drew, 55% of the people with 16 points drew and nobody with 15 got a tag.
I'm interested to see once the 2009 figures are tabulated.
It does look like you are a year or 2 behind the curve, get ready!
