what is the best .224 caliber gun for deer the swift or 22-250?? live in nc small deer not really bigger than 200lbs!!! hunting load suggestions, thanks for the help

Well the bigger 224 well drive the heavy bullets faster. But that isn't always good the bullets might blow up at the faster speeds. Beacuse you are useing a 224 lung and heart side shots are tha only ones you well take any well built 224 for bullet at 2500 fps or faster well do the job. don't expect to break bones or get a lot of penatraion. Having shot deer with a 22 hornet they well kill them just make sure you have a good side shot and don't hit any heavy bones.
