triggersights for sore eyes
I have a 50 cal TC Hawkens that I shoot some. Had not picked it up for several years and then decided to hunt with it last year. Took it out to check the sights/load. Low and behold, my eyes are not what they use to be. Had a hard time focusing.
The gun has the original factory open sights.
Need your help! Scope is not allowed for primitive weapon hunts here. Do the new fiber sights help or maybe a rear aperture sight.
Any other ideas.
Surely I'm not the first to come across this problem.
Thanks

<Dale>Lyman makes a receiver sight that will fit your T/C Hawken. I put one on my .58 cal T/C BigBoar and like it. The sight cost about $60. T/C also makes a receiver sight, but I do not think it is as sturdy as the Lyman.

Russell E. TaylorGo with whatever peep sight you can mount for a rear sight and make whatever improvement will work best, for you, for your front sight.
I swear by aperture sights.

8MM OR MORET/C shows one on their web sight that I use. It is low profile, and I have found that I can unscrew the aperture plate, and use the resulting hole as the rear "ghost" ring with good results. tcarms.com, go to products, look at the sights. Model 7194 is the one I use.
