No sheep and no moose for this nonresident. With resident deer and elk plus 2 nonresident elk and 1 mountain goat (my 3rd lower 48 MG) I'm plenty busy this fall.

No sheep tag for this old hunter. I now have 10 bonus points and a lot of faith. Hope faith will help me to draw a sheep tag before they slide my old butt into the oven. MTG

I'm up to 14 points on sheep,the whole story is 38 years putting in for sheep in my home state,not getting any younger.

Same same. Put in every year for all three: NADA and I have all the bonus points you can get.

My friend drew goat this year, so maybe I'll be his pack mule.

Nothing here either. That makes 36 years of applying without drawing a Goat, 31 years without a Sheep, and 26 years without a Moose.

BUT, I do have 14 bonus points for next year, so I will have 196 chances in each of the drawings -- along with the thousands of other guys that also have 14 bonus points.

No dice yet again. I have max points for Mountain Goat so like the others I have tons of chances but we are all in the same boat!

At least I will get my stupid refund check and be able to go buy some beer to cry in!!

Sorry '99, there are no refund checks this year.

FWP changed the system this year so residents paid a non-refundable application fee of $10 per animal (up from $5/animal last year), and if you get drawn, you pay the balance.

This saves FWP a pile of $$ as they do not have to process and send out thousands refund checks. Applicants benefit as they don't have to send in the $80/animal application like we did last year, but it costs us $5/animal more this year.
