A non-resident bringing a hunting rifle into the USA? What is needed?
Gents:

One of our African friends, Katte, is going to come to the DRSS hunt weekend in June to do some hunting. However, this time he would like to bring his own firearm with him. I believe he is a resident of South Africa.

What is needed upon his arrival at Customs to bring his hunting rifle?

In my experience you need a BATF form 6, and an invitation to a shoot or a hunting licence.

Do a google search on the BATF form and you'll find the application.

Apply WAY, WAY in advance, and good luck. Smiler
