More On That US Gun-Declaration Requirement

The Hunting Report has been besieged with calls about our recent report that
US citizens must declare with US Customs their firearms each and every time
they leave the country. To clarify the matter, we dug up the relevant US
State Department regulations. They are available at E-Mail Extra

of the regulations and some thoughts on why they are being enforced with
increasing frequency and severity. Do not leave the US with a firearm, even
to travel to Canada or Mexico, without reading this bulletin.

Thanks for the info. A lot of the guys in this forum routinely travel outside the country (unfortunately, not me) on hunting trips. Since 9/11 the life of the law abiding has become even more difficult.
