Was at the gun store today, looking at a 6,5 sweed, and buying ammo for my rifle, the dealer says norma droped the 358 line, is this true?

According to what I've been told lately, .358 Norma mag is still produced. I saw some on the shelf of my local gunstore a month ago.

However, if you are in the US, they might have stopped importing it.

Not a big problem if you handload though. I make cases from a variety of belted magnums (7mm Rem Mag, 338 Win Mag, .375 H&H Mag) and all work fine even though some result in a slightly short neck.

I think that some of the calibers are made in runs. for awhile I couldn't get fresh 308 Norma Mag brass, then that was plentiful and 358 became tough to get. I believe it is just a cycle thing - Dan
