Alligator pic from this weekend

It was a great weekend on Texas coast. I wound up catching a bunch of redfish and this medium size alligator.

What a difference a week makes. According to Hurricane Rita's projected path my ranch appears to be near ground zero for landfall. If it stays a catagory 5 the house and building probably won't make it. I rode out a catagory 2 three years ago down there. It was interesting to say the least. Although it was something I always wanted to do once is enough. Good luck to everybody on the coast.

Nice lizard. Ain't gator hunting fun? I got 3 in Florida in April, the biggest right at 9 ft long. It was pretty cool.
