Solid evidence on .243 and it's adequacy on deer!
Well, my mother in law got me a computer game for Christmas.

Cabela's DeerHunt 2005. 2 of the firearm choices are a .243 and the 30.06.

So far, I've shot about 100 deer on the game and all of the ones shot with the 30.06 dropped. All but 1 shot with the .243 ran or were wounded. So far it's about 50/50 with each rifle.

I hate to be the guy that says, "I told you so," but now I have firm evidence!

Now who's gonna be first to tell the engineers that developed the game and those good folks at Cabela's that this game has and inaccurate depiction of the .243?!!

Mwaaa ha ha ha haahahahahaha.
