Watched this buck most of the late summer early
fall.Nov 1st is opening day for landowners.I told
my wife I was going to deer hunt the morning.
I got up early and took Ted my 4 legged fur child
out for his walk.He did his business quickly as
he thought we were going to hunt birds.Well I went
down stairs to get my gear and gun.I walk to the
stairs and there's Ted wagging his tail hot to
hunt birds.I turned around and put the rifle away
and grab the shotgun.We had a good morning and
killed our limit in 40 mins.
I came home,did some chores and took a nap.My wife
came home from her dad's farm as she was deer hunting there.We ate lunch.She was ready to nap so
I went out to my stand for the afternoon.I
was just enjoying the day and this guy comes out
to interupt the tranquil afternoon.
Made hot dogs with some of him,...delicious.

Nice buck Jeff. I too am hunting in CT where some of the nicest whitetails are.

I passed up a doe today. It was just standing there in the field. If I see one like that I will shoot. Otherwise it's just nice being out there.
