MARK H. YOUNGsako,
I used the Food Saver from the time they came on the market. If you really want to keep your meat and fish fresh there is no other way to go. We've eaten a lot of moose meat that was over 3 years old and it was excellent in every way.
If I was going to put up a large quanity of meat and fish again I would buy the best Food Saver on the market. It is a better investment than a new rifle. I promise.
Regards,
Mark

BALLBUSTERFoodsaver Pro II is the way to go. Last year my buddy and I split a 1400# bison, had a butcher cut steaks, roasts and grind the burger. Then we vac sealed it. Did the entire bison (about (650 # of meat) in three hours, and that was with a few beer breaks. BB
