JeffPMy CT 8 point
Killed this buck last Sat,in my hay lot.Was a
great day. When I went out to hunt the wind was
blowing hard and it was cold.So I took a book,
Alaska Yukon Trophies Won and Lost which is a
great read, and went to my tree stand.I was enjoying my book and being outside when at @
4:20 the wind just died down and it got quiet.I
put the book down and picked up the rifle.Time to
get serious. At 4:38 I looked at my watch and said
to myself,Mr buck you have 7 mins to show yourself. As if I willed it I looked out the right window and there he is feeding @ 25 yards from me.
He fits in the freezer good.

<Don Martin29>Really nice buck. CT has some good laws for hunting considering the state has 3 million people with cities nobody wants to live in and everone else building a house in the country.
The landowner season is a couple of months long and with 10 acres min. a rifle can be used. The limit is two deer in most of the state but I have had crop damage permits which are not that hard to get. Once you fill 5 tags you go and get 5 more. This is for young guys. My freezer is too full now.
