A friend sent me this pic this morning, may have been around already. Is it for real?

Looks melanistic to me. An albino has no melanin(skin pigment), and a melanistic deer has too much.

That deer is melanistic. I knew that there were grey squirrels with melanism, but I'd never heard of it happening to deer.
