The NRA will host the new "Great American Outdoor Show" in Harrisburg, PA for 2014 (FEB 1-9). Can't say I'm going to miss Reed Exhibitions. Guessing their management will have more time devoted to drinking tea.

A press conference to announce the producer of the Great American Outdoor Show is underway at this moment. The 2013 show, which was cancelled in February, had a huge economic impact in our region, estimated at $80 million in lost revenue in hotels, restaurants, shopping, gas and other purchases. We are happy to announce that the Great American Outdoor Show will be held in February of 2014. It will be organized and promoted by the National Rifle Association.

NRA was selected after an extensive process and we are all enthusiastic about the potential for this show and the positive impact on our region.
