Spring 2003 Kodiak Openings

We are now getting our Spring/2003 season for Kodiak Brown Bear (Afognak Island) in order and wanted to let you know we still have some openings available. All of our hunters were put on excellent bears last Spring, resulting in bears between 9ï¿½2ï¿½ and 9ï¿½10ï¿½ being taken. Our overall success rate is 95% and we take no bears smaller than 8ï¿½.

There are 10 permits available each Spring and 4 permits are available each Fall.

Spring/2003 hunting dates are:

1] April 6 ï¿½ 15

2] April 16 ï¿½ 25

3] April 26 ï¿½ May 5

4] May 6 ï¿½ 15
