Renato Menegon 12ga 3"/ 222 rifle from Brescia Italy
I have an opportunity to purchase a Renato Menegon O/U combination gun imported by Armsport of Miami Fla.

It is a 12ga 3" over and 222 rifle under.

Can anyone tell me anything about this maker?

I have found some references to double rifles, and one reference to a 12ga/270 combination.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi SDH,
I have a Wischo combo (pic down about half this page 7x65R) It is made by Renato Gamba. When made under their name, I am told it was called the Bayhern 88 . Go to Gunsinternational and search for Renata Gamba and you will see their
products. My old Bluebook of 2003 sez the Wischo was about 1500 or so retail (if I remember correctly) My Wischo seems to be solidly made, and is very accurate and is not prone to too much climbing when shot quickly.
I also have V. Bernardelli Combo 2000 5.6X50R mag which is an Italian gun and also vry good quality and accurate.
That is about all I know about Renato Gamba

I used to have one in 12 ga/270. Nice gun for the money; mine shot incredibly well.
