I have a Merkel drilling that when the rifle barrel is fired the rifle cocking lever does not return to the uncocked position and the firing pin hangs up in the primer indent until manually released and of course this does not allow the shotgun barrel to be fired. Any answers to this problem?????

Also, how many Merkles are (were) involved in the trade, Gebruder, Franz & etc. and do the different names affect the values??
