the S&B site will not open.....at least in my hands.....I tried to reach the American S&B distributor many many times.....only got voice messaging. I wrote to S&B Euro headquarters....never got a reply.

got it...thanks. Interestingly, they load .366 bullets into 9.3x72R cases....although the barrels are bored for .364
This seems no problem however, since .366 shoots well in my 9.3x72R.

BBH,
You might also check with the JMar Enterprises,
www.drillinghotline.com. They are located near the border of PA, NJ and NY. I've dealt with them off and on, and sometimes they have 9.3x72 reloads with cast bullets. I've always wanted to try cast's in my x74, but have not been able to find any.

Your 1908 is before the 9.3x72R was "standardized." There are at least 5 variants of 9.3x72R, but if you've shot modern ammo in your rifle before, then this should be of no concern.

I also think Norma loads the 9,3x72R with a 193 gr bullet.

I have shot, and killed game with the S&B ammo in the 9,3x74R and it worked fine.
