hi all, new to the site and have a question about a gun I've put a deposit on. From memory the marksings say Brno 502.6 and it's no.19 in the batch. It's 12g on top and 243 under. Does anyone know when these were built and what they perform like? I think the 12g is 3".

I intend to use it for stalking in state forests where there can be rabbit, hare, goat and fallow.

Any idea if a 22LR insert would work in the 12g barrel? And if so, how to go about such?

Any info much apppreciated.

also, does anyone have a copy of the Owners Manual as I've only been able to find the 801-803 manual online?

I don't see any reason why a Krieghoff 22LR insert bbl. wouldn't work in the shot bbl... You just have to get the right one for an O/U and have it properly installed.

I have one that i have used many times in my Valmet 412, chambered in 12/30-06 and it's worked perfectly...
