577nedrilling
Anyone have any information about a drilling
with the names rauchlos beschossen? It is
a hammer gun, 12x12x9.3/72r, nice wood, nice
engraving. Thanks

Fritz KrautI'm sorry but that is too less information. "Rauchlos beschossen" ist German for "Nitro proof". Aren't there any other markings?
These old drillings are often very fine pieces of gun smithing.

Fritz

577neNothing else, except "kruppstahl" krupp steel,
I expect. There are several proof marks, and
the word nitro in a couple places. How many
of these were made without any makers names?
Thanks again
