My 6.5x57 bbf
After an extreamly busy summer with no time to hunt or even fish I took my Buchsenmacker Bartels 6.5x57 bbf along when I took my daughter to Desney world in Fl. After 4 days with Mickey and all I went to viset my friends in Bradenton and my 7 year old played on the beach while I hunted.
The old bbf did it's part when I finally found this small hog.

Thanks, I know it's not much of a hog but it felt good to brush the dust off he old 6.5 and use it after a summer full of guideing and no hunting or fishing for myself.

I really like this little BBF the barrels are only 22" and it is very compact.

Speaking of compact and light weight combos ,my friend in FL was hunting with his 7x57 merkel drilling. I was surprised how little that 20 ga drilling was. Very nice.

Hey! Eeker

I envy any hunting right now, as this hasn't been my year. CRYBABY

Great combo and I love that it is killing hogs, just like it was meant to. Cool Cool Cool

Yep, the big ones are for tourists. I rarely shoot one over 80#...
