Hello All - I have a CZ 584 in 12 gauge x 7x65R. I noticed in the owner's manual a reference to part # VT 12, a .22 LR insert for one of the barrels. Does anyone here have one or know where to get one?

CZUSA used to sell a .22 insert barrel for the 12 gauge barrel. I have one that I bought from them. Paid about $100 four years ago.

How does the insert shoot? How difficult is it to install/remove?
I just bought a 584 and am intersting in increasing its versatility. I sent an email off to CZ-USA to see if they still have them available.

Cornfield - I sent an e-mail to CZ-USA Wednesday, but have not heard back. I've also heard they may be available through CZ in Europe. I'll post back what I hear.

I got the following response from CZ USA on my query about the availability of inserts or extra barrel sets:
