Jarrod, right here! There would have to be hundreds of forum members and visitors who either know about, or regularly use, drillings.
This is why some of us wanted to have a dedicated site here on AR. Drilling, (from the german for three, drei (dri?) three barrels on the one action. Usually 2 shotgun BBls and 1 rifle BBL. However, also available with 2 rifle and 1 shotgun BBL, this configuration is sometimes know as the Bochdrilling, and can be had with different rifle calibres in each rifled BBL.

Samba,

you are right here are the spec. for drillings.

2 gaube 1 rifle - Drilling

1 gauge 2 riflebarrel - Doppelbüchsdrilling

1 gauge 2 riflebarrels in different calibers -
Bockdrilling

3 rifle barrels - büchsdrilling
(if the drilling is in big bores some people call it Tropendrilling)

2 gauge side by side under a 22lr rifle barrel,
and the barrel is integrated between the gauge its named - Waldläufer (very rare never saw on)

If there is gauge and Rifle side by side unter a 22lr like the Waldläufer its an _ Waldläuferbockdrilling.

3 gauge - Flintendrilling

How can I bring pics to this forum, a have a lot of informations.

If you don't want to register go to http://tinypic.com/

If you want a place to also store pics the try another free site like http://imageshack.us/

The directions seem down for the moment. I will be back in about three hours and will try to help from there.

The English, and sometimes the French, call a drilling with two rifled barrels and one smoothbore barrel an "Express Drilling". An express rifle being a double gun. I would guess this comes from the chamberings of the original British double guns which came in Nitro "Express" cartridges.

Hallo, Burkhard!

You only forgot the Vierling, in my case two smooth bores 12 ga and two rifled barrels, one 5.6x50 R, one 7x57R.

Not this type of Vierling

Hallo Arriba,

nice pictures, but I hope we will never have a use for one of those vielling.

In point of hunting vierlings (my smith told me that even Fünflings - five barrels are possible).

I only know one hunter having a vierling he payed about 20.00 EURO for it.

I know only HEYM having a Vierling in their programm.

Burkhard, you are not kidding about those prices, one local shop had a veirling (7x57R,12g,12g,22 Hornet) from Frankonia. The second hand price on that beauty was $18,750 AUD, with the Zeiss 1.5 - 6 in claw mounts.
Much as I could find a use for it, I'm afraid that is way too much for me!
A fine piece of craftsmanship, though.
