I have just come into possesion of a nice double with two sets of barrels. One set is 12 gauge with ventilated rib, the other 12 gauge over a 7mmx58R rifled barrel. It is in excellent condition and looks modern. Previous owner bought it in Germany but thinks it is Italian. Any body know anything about this firearm?

I'll be happy to be corrected if anyone else has better info but as I recall Noris was a Firearms Distributor in Nürnburg who simply sold firearms both retail & to the Trade under his banner. They could have been sourced from anywhere.

I guess you could equate Noris to something similar to "Herter's" in the US.
