I passed up a Merkel Double rifle/drilling over 20 guage barrel. The double caliber was 9.3 X 74R. It had a 1 X 4 either Kalhes(sp) or Swar. scope with quick European swing on mounts. It balanced well and felt good when I sighted through the scope. Cot was $ 7K. How does the Merkel quality comapre with Heym, Simpson, etc?
