Almost have the 300 win mag dialed in.
I've been working on loads for my Sako 75 300 win mag and i shot what i think is a pretty good load. I snuck a peak of my loading bench in there as well, but see what ya think.

Looks like you have a lot of room left on the FPS, you're 165's are doing normal 180gr speeds. But, looks pretty accurate and if you don't need more speed, I think you're doin great!

This load is for whitetail so i'm running them a bit slower. I do have room left but this was the sweet spot in .5 increments for this load. I have room to refine it a little more when i get the time but this load is going with me to kill a deer. This is the only hunting rifle i havn't taken a deer with so i'm aiming to fix that.

Go with it. For big game your group is fine. Good luck blooding the Sako.

Sweet groups and rifle.

A buddy of mine and I have the same identical rifle-bought new in 1997. We use to shoot the factory Winchester Supreme 180gr Partition Golds until 2004 when the Accubonds came out. Since 2005, I reload for mine. Close to 0.4" groups at 100m. RL22 with Federal 215 primers are my loads. Just enough room to pass a sheet of paper between the bullet tip and the inside edge of the clip. No problem cycling rounds.

Another friend in our moose camp picked up a used same rifle 2 years ago and shoots 180gr TSX/TTSX's.

Sako m75ss and Greywolf rifles are what I love!!
I have a few now in different calibers. I recently found a mint m75ss 338WM but since I built my m75 Greywolf 338-06AI I decided against it for now.

I really like the Sako 75's. I actually like them more than the 85. I had another 75 in .270 that i sold to a guy on here. I'm going to rebarrel an AV i have probably to 280 AI or 338-06. Not sure yet but my current favorite rifle to shoot is this one.

I also have a 243 and 22-250 in the m75ss model and had a 300WSM in the Greyolf I sold to a friend last year. I want a 270WSM in a SS model and then replace the stock with a Macmillan. I have two of the 270WSM's in the Tikka T3 LS models (wife took over the first so I bought another for me), but I might sell it so I can get a Greywolf or SS model inthe Sako m75. I also debating on building another wildcat on a Sako m75 "V" action.

Nice, I wouldn 't mind having a 243. Thats still on my list and may be what i buy for my son. I almost bought a Greywolf in 338 federal but didn't pull the trigger. I'm looking at building a 280AI or 338-06 on an AV action i have.

Buying the 243 was the excuse I used before our first child was born...just happened to be a boy. Bought it used in mint condition couple weeks prior to his birth.

I use it as my predator rifle for now, especially if we are out hunting wolves.

I sure do love my 338-06AI I built on am75 Greywolf rifle. A 280I would be another great caliber. Good luck on your build !!
