I bought a CZ 550 American from FourTails. Beautiful little rifle.

Am curious, is the standard finish for this rifle a polished blue with hand cut checkering on pretty nice walnut?

If so, this rifle is a hellova bargain at the normal prices to be had for CZs!

Reason I ask is that the finish on my 550 Safari Magnum on .416 Rigby is more a matt blue with checkering that appears to have been done by machine. Not so nice as hand checkering.

I kinda wish it wasn't quite so shiny; don't like carrying a mirror around while hunting.
