I was strolling through the gunshop and stumbled on a 98% or so Sako AV Hunter stocked 30-06 for 5 bills. I couldn't get the money out quick enough. I had my 9 yr old daughter with me and she says dad, mom said no more guns for a while. My reply : Honey, i dropped this off to have some work done, I'm just picking it up! I'll post some pics tomarrow. I worked up my first load of 46.5 grains IMR 4064, Speer Grand Slam SP 165, CCI large rifle, R-P brass and shot a .5" or so sub moa group.Pretty great for a first load fluke or no fluke. I'm hoping to do a ladder tomarrow. I had thoughts of turning it into a 338-06 but maybe not just yet.
