Sako 75 Hunter w/ woodstock vs A-Bolt SS
I'm a southpaw and torn between an Abolt stainless stalker and Sako 75 Hunter(only maple available for us lefties). I want a quality all weather gun. Will the Sako's wood stock handle wet weather w/o warping? Is it glass bedded? I know the Abolt SS can handle the weather but know it can not compare to the Sako in quality. Thanks for your feedback!

All I can tell you is that the SAKO will "most Likely" outshoot the Browning. Quality is classes above the Browning. My last 2 SAKO's shot 1.25" at 200 yds and .942" at 300 yds!!! These were the best of 3 groups for each gun , even though the rest of the groups were real close to these in size. Just MHO

Back40:

You can put a cardboard stock on the Sako and it would still be a better gun than the Browning. Granted it will also be much more expensive.

Who said Sako made maple stocks? All that I have seen, both in RH and LH rifles, are either plastic or walnut.

In any case, the choice here is clear without thinking about it. Sako by a mile.
