huskyJimmy Mac,
Thank you -I din't know that there was differences in the threading.
A little bit more about 7x61 Sharpe & Hart:
That cartridge has probably killed more species of animals than any other caliber in the world
A Danish lawyer and keen hunter named Rudolf Sand used exclusively his Schulz & Larsen rifle (also Danish) in the caliber 7x61 S&H during hunting tours all over the world and killed more than 270

different spieces with it! among others Tiger, Lion, Cape buffalo, Lord Derby's Eland, Ice Bear, Bison Buffalo etc etc.
Rudol Sand got The Weatherby Award in 1976.
Norma makes or has in stock 7x61 S&H cases for reloading.

281 different species. I know a fellow hunter who owns a S&L model 100 in the caliber and is "slightly" influneced by Mr Sand's adventures. He uses this caliber for all hunting except were regulations says no
