I saw one of these today in a pawn shop, it has a very nice Fagen walnut stock with a good red recoil pad, the barrel is 24 inches and the rifling is very good, it has been tapped for a scope and has a Weaver 4x steel tube scope that appears to be like new.Can anyone tell me about this particular rifle? Is it a very strong action? They want 350.00 for it. Is that a good deal. the barrel is a deep blue and thicker than a factory Rem. barrel. I would say close to .700 in diameter.

That is an Enfield. Actually that is a very very strong action.

I have bought several for $100.00 in great shape.

Currently having one built into a 6mm Remington for 1,000 shooting with a one in 8 twist for a nephew who is graduating high school this year and is bound for the NM Military Academy.

$350.00 is high. If it is a pawn shop offer $200.00 cash for it.
They probably got it from the guy for $75.00 tops.
