150 gr Accu Bonds for 300wsm
Hey guys, I am looking for advice on some loads for my 300wsm. I have been using 150gr SSTs with IMR 4350 and Winchester LR primers, but I am wanting to try some 150gr Accu Bonds. What loads are working for you guys? Do you suggest Mag. Primers or a different powder? If you are curious, I am shooting a Winchester Coyote (24" barrel).

Thanks... Brandon

I would stay away from the 150 grain bullets in the WSM. Stick with the 165. You will get better performance at greater distances with the heavier bullet. IMHO, anything short of an x bullet in the 150grain wont hold up to a short distance impact with heavy shoulder bones. Not at those velocities. I put a 140AB in a bucks shoulders out of my 280AI(3206fps) at around 60 yds. Wasnt quite the bomb a NBT would have been but it did very considerable damage. So my advice is stick with the heavier bullets. Leave the light stuff(bonded core or not) to the yotes.
