45-70/348win based mid bore
I am working on a Marlin 1895 take down 2 barrel set and am wondering if anyone has an idea for a mid bore (25-35cal) cartridge based on either the 348 win or 45-70. On barrel in 50 alaskan the other in a mid size. thanks for your help

Just go with the 33Winchester or the 38-56 they are both 45-70 based

I have heard that the .348 will not function in a Marlin action-you have to use the Win. M71. Stick with the .45/70 diameter case.

Perhaps the 35 Greevy Express is what you may want. Its based on the 45-70 case. I seen it in the Wolfe Publishing Wildcats book. ~~~Suluuq
