Re: 7mm Weatherby Magnum
Mine is a standard Mark V Deluxe with a 26" barrel. Wouldn't change a thing. Much better than my Ruger M77(tang safety) 7mm Rem. Mag.. Lawdog

I have a 1963 Geman made Weatherby with 26" bbl, Very accurate and recoil is not bad. I like it. I normally shoot 154 gr factory loads. Bbl is a little long for sitting in a stand with unless you are doing beanfield shots. Just sold some brass. A local store here has some Weatherby brass in 7mm pretty cheap. Seems like she said 15 shipped. It is Norma I think. Burdett and Son, Tel: (979) 695-2807. Talk to Kathy. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the line on the brass Cowboy. I think I will have Pac-Nor rebarrel and true up one of my 7 Rem Mags. Will go for a 26" barrel in a fairly light contour. Will post results next spring.
